Each pillow plate is shaped, curved or flat, to fit the surface to which it has to be mounted. Liquid or gaseous thermal fluids such as water, thermal oil, steam or refrigerant gases flow inside the pillow plates. The heat transfer takes place through the surface in contact. The application of a conductive paste improves its performance.
Thanks to the larger contact surface compared to any other type of exchanger, the DAV Pillow plates have excellent performance in heat transfer.
They can also be applied to existing systems: their installation does not require welding or disassembly of existing equipment or pipes, reducing overall installation and maintenance costs.
Being external, they do not require disassembly for inspections, cleaning or maintenance, which are therefore simple and quick.

Curved clamp-on plates are used to wrap around the circumference of a ducts or a round tank. Each section of clamp-on jackets can be configured in any given dimension and can be assembled in multiple parts to cover the full cylindrical portion of the tank.
